Doa Pilihan Pelindung Keluarga

Nabi berkata : sekiranya engkau membaca pada setiap petang " Aku berlindung dengan kalimah Allah yang sempurna dari segala kejahatan makhluk", nescaya dengan izin Allah kamu tidak akan ditimpa mudarat" ( Riwayat Ibn Hibban, 3/298 )


Juga sebuah lagi doa yang mudah dari hadis sohih:-

Rasulullah s.a.w didengari berkata sesiapa yang berdoa : "Dengan nama Allah yang tiada dimudaratkan sesuatu apapun dengan namaNya samada di bumi dan di langit, dan Dialah maha mendengar dan maha mengetahui" sebanyak 3 kali, maka dia tidak ditimpa kesusahan bala dan musibah sehinggalah subuh esoknya, dan barangsiapa membacanya ketika subuh 3 kali, dia tidak ditimpa kesusahan bala dan musibah sehingga petangnya" ( Riwayat Abu Daud, 4/323 ; At-Tirmidizi, 5/465 dan Ahmad ; Tirmizi : Hasan -

Mudah-mudahan Allah menyelamatkan kita serta keluarga daripada azab bala bencana seperti selesama Babi dan lain-lain..

it's been a while i've been posting on my and our lives... anyways been buzy with work and stuff.

i got promoted to our ICT department at work and been buzy with how to make function an old operating system using Windows ME. anyone out there i need tips and softwares to get the computers condition as "usable" for today.

My lil brother came home last week and now he is back in aussie... hope he knows how to cook there :)

about my photography, all i took was pictures of my place of work though, i got no time to take other pics, hopefully in the future i'll try to post up some more.

on computers, now i'm learning on how to edit and change the HTML codes on my blogger and other blogs that i moniter, today i learnt about the span codes in HTML.

just wanna write today.

after a long time observing and trying to put in someone's shoe i finally got an answer to all my problems, for me to exactly tell or argue on something you have to really know the idea, the thinking, and if you can the emotions.

for example being a photographer always needs the thinking of uniqueness, an idea of how people may perceive the picture and the thinking of how to get the right angle, composition and colour. yep there is no "stepping stone" in learning, experiments and trial and error you must go through to be a perfect photographer or anything else you desire.

been playing "world of warcraft" and the game although i thought was a waste of time (before) ended giving me some tips in life... what tips? well, the tips of how to learn and become skillful, similar to the game which is in levels..

been wondering what are the basic rules in child discipline is... i googled it out and found this beautiful article which is the link below on how to discipline your child. anyways for me some of the rules is what i am doing right now.. hmm tell me what do you think?

i was browsing through the net and youtube looking for bike videos for my son when i accidently saw this clip from a video game. yep my previous favourite game characters, Sub-zero and Scorpion fighting.... i really enjoyed this clip before.. just to explain what i mean here is the video.

Assalamualaikum.

Well,
my job requires me to do planning on every weekend, which absolutely leaves me with no time for actual "life" and every fridays i have to bring my wife to our daily commitments. this leaves me with no time to enjoy the so called life and time.

my bike has problems after it was in the flood, i guess it must have been the wiring or something, so at the end of this month my bike will ask for money though.

my son is okay, having to see Playhouse disney everyday.. he understands some parts of english, thanks to the good educational programme :)

tomorrow i'll be observed by my boss, on how i do my work, hope everything goes well amin.

about my photography hobby, i started to make hdr photos, but i guess i kinda like the originals as hdr are mainly a synthetic kinda photo, it shows details of what a dream might look. no offense but i still prefer normal photos without editing. now thinking of taking photos with film.(will look for canon film cameras soon on ebay)

well, enough about my boring life, will continue soon, c ya in my other posts.

experimenting HDR

after a long time wondering and studying HDR i finally started to try some,
yep i first took some shots of the halim plaza which was not sucessful then i took these pictures, convert it to HDR using photomatix. cropped and mark using photoshop cs2. it's still not much.. hope you enjoy.

although under medication with painkillers picture taking had healed myself spiritually to appreciate god's creation.

after the rainy friday, i went to throw the trash and brought my canon 450d

After snapping some pictures using the kit lens of 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 of the fire ants, i was wishing my telephoto lens to arrive. Yet it has not arrived... but last night i was able to Accidently bid on an extender for my kit lens, it is a wide angle + panoramic lens for a sum of BN$100++ made by Bowen lens. hopefully i'll post more macro shots :) here are the shots of the fire ants..





yep after reaching the limit of 200 pictures in my flickr, i've upgraded it to a Pro account, so expect more of my pictures in my flickr account. despite my macbook hard drive is getting full reaching a free memory of 60gig out of 250gig from my pictures so i'll be putting my pictures in my flickr account.

hmm after testing some shots of the full frame Canon 5D mark 2.... i can't really sleep well last night... as the quality of the camera the price was really hmmm xtra hit on the buck!!

today i tasted my wife's baked caramel peach dish, although it is still in the experimental stage, i kinda like it!

imagine the taste of canned peach plus caramel and a pancake..... hmmm yummy!

btw... i also recommend the ABC at Restoran Engal at Suran (beside Suran Tutong filling station) i ordered the Special version of the cold ABC. no picture taken because soo completely unique taste. In summary... whipped cream, ice, mixed cocktail, palm seed, grass jelly, corn, rose syrup, milk... try it out!

experimenting with panoramic pictures... and some results

i've been experimenting with some panoramic pictures which is one or more pictures merged together to get a much wider view (hence panoramic).

items you need:
of course a camera,
a tripod (or a steady base)
for digital camera, photoshop.
for film camera a scanner and photoshop.( or tape and sharp knife or cutter when printed)
a good scene.

i was actually interested in scene pictures when i discovered the ideas of "stitching" my uncle gantong said. or in other meaning, merging two or more picture to get one really great pic. Here are some examples of pictures i've taken.



first i took this picture on the right. remember this is on a tripod and all manual settings such as manual focus and camera must be set to manual aperture and shutter speed.



then i took this second shot taking note the island on the left as my marking mark.


uploaded it to my macbook and opened photoshop.

opened the two pictures equally and put the second pic window on top of the first pic window estimating the island as marked.

then i open file>automate>photomerge

then the pictures are merged, however we can manually merge it if the file is not recognisable.

then i crop and edited the burnt sides with photoshop plus the watermark. the outcome is the picture below.

it's late and i guess i can't really go to sleep. Don't know why but i think i got the holiday mood still in my mind.

Started to make this post using my n81. Actually testing out the keypad where i always hit the * key rather than the 7prs key.

Its a little slow using my hp although i prefer 2 use my macbook.which is now in my wife's hands. So plan 2 buy a new mac. Maybe the new 15inch pro. (hopefully!)

A Relaxing morning for a perfect day to end the week!

on this picture i took with my new Canon 450d is their flyers and info on the how to book the sailing event.

Today, i went boat sailing because a friend (saifol) ask me if i could join him on taking shots about a sailboat. It was actually the launching of the boat as a charter boat.

yes it was relaxing! and the bonus thing is anyone can charter the sail boat.

the boat was really beautiful, mostly made of wood! really fantastic to see Brunei once again using a slow sail boat.
