the beauty of a rainbow, new espeed and tourism.

what happened today? hmm yes i drove to work, cold the air was fresh and the morning mist was fine, i saw a rainbow and snapped it.

to cut the story short, i went back from work and saw this tall english man walking beside the road in the hot midday sun, as usual he turned red...i noticed he carried a scroll of map on his right hand which gave me a click that he is a tourist,going back from tasek merimbun... so i followed my instincts and turned at bang pangan junction. i reached him and asked if he needs a lift...(jadi taxi sapu free). anyways he was delighted to see me ask him although he said he is used to walk 30 km once but he said that the sun was really harsh on him.

yep my instincts was right he was from tasek merimbun, he said the place was peaceful and he had a walk there.he also said he went to temburong and went for the eco tourist places.

we talked and talked and i introduced myself, he told me his nickname was vinnie, "vinnie the pooh, they call me..."he said. i asked him where he is from and he said he was from germany, yep germany. i told him sorry in brunei there are no taxis or buses going to merimbun, he answered yes i know i walked from lamunin to merimbun this morning and the air was pleasant, but this midday the sun was sooo hot!!!.

i told him where i work hence that is why i was driving on that road.i asked him what he does..( i thought he was a traveller 247) but eventually he owns and runs a computer business back in munich.

i felt ashamed of brunei promoting it's places of interest to the world, having one of the best forest reserve in asean. but i guess the place needs a private sector to maintain... it is sad to know that your country has the potential to promote tourist but still no action has been made to improve the places of interest.

ok back to the story we talked via the lamunin road untill we reached kupang, where i dropped him at the bus stand there. i actually felt sorry for him walking, but i admire his will to see Tasek Merimbun by himself.

ah i nearly forgot, about our e speed out of the eagerness of the modem being at home... finally we have to refund our modem to telbru because my home is out of range for the espeed Although in the rurals there is e speed.... hmm i don't know what will be their next action towards our places but a friend working in telbru told me soon we can apply when the new launcing starts next month.(i hope we can have espeed!!!!)

yep today i went to hometown being my mommy's boy...hehhehe although age is near 30 :P
. tired of coming back from work where my airconditioning was crap and i was sweating like on a shower in my smart attire...

what i did today was go to work.... came home waited for our upcoming modem to blink "LINK" yet crappy it is saturday, a public holiday for telbru so we have adsl modem to look at for 2 days and 3 nights... anyhows i read the instruction book and the english was crappy but funny hahhaha i laughed by my own.i guess the company who make the modems shoud hire a proper translator.

i keep asking my wife for the proper wifi name introduced to me which was TPlink where i said it was IPlink (watever!) anyhows i guess we just need a linksys because my other lappy uses the same brand. as they said it was cisco system (seriously i don't know what it means!!!) anyhow the linksys is much cheaper here and i don't need to go wifi on areas at the swamp behind our home, or else i'll be surfing with the huge monitor lizard about what cats to eat (where there are 6 fatalities as a gourmet for the biawak!!!) anyhows back to the topic about today,
hmmm, yeah then after getting bored we decided to go to my mommy, here i started to surf using my big bro's wifi... then after a quick fresh air outside, mom asked me to install some swithes which was worn out... i cut off the main switch and installed the worn out switch... (i'm an electrician) everything went ok!!! alhamdullillah.

then went back inside the house planning to update this blog, yes 52 was eager to eat some burgers, after she looked at her cousin's blog...anyhow i look at the fridge of magic and founded minced beef, hmmm i thought i might as well make a burger. (now i'm a cook!!!)but then i founded there was no buns.. so i borrowed midnight's scoot and went with 52 to tutong town to buy some buns..

came home, cooked the minced beef with pepper, salt, garlic and a little tomato sauce (maggi)
then after all flavours are mixed i added a little secret herb from a bottle..anyways i cooked this in my mom's magic wok which look it was bombarded but yet it survived.


then i heated the burger plate, added a little butter, while making big balls of burger meat and dropping them in a mixed fresh egg. then i put it on the burger plate and cooked it all at once.
on the plate, i flatten the burger balls so that it would turn homemade burger like yet still looks homemade.

52 cut some tomatoes from the fridge and got some cheese slices.while i cut the buns to halves and dry the burger pan from oil. to get the burning flavour i used a full flame and put the buns on it.yes i got what i imagined then finally walaa!!!!walllllllllla(entah cana kah bunyinya)

i snapped this picture today somewhere in the rurals. and the green moths is snapped earlier last month.














these are the uniqueness of these moths, i was stuck with the mindset of moths being brown like wood bark.

these are the pictures of a "Balingkasa" which i saw very near looks like the Chameleon hence the lizard's ability to copy the colour it's surroundings. the one which i took very near jumped suprisingly towards me!!! i was surprised! i thought the lizard knows he is going to be a star hehehhe.

well, it's been days without the internet, 52 is eager to pester me with this computer, hmm i guess her addiction to blogger!!! hahahha.
anyhows she will be posting about our 2 days in tasting donuts, food, dim sum.
now we are somewhere in the areas of tanjung maya at 52's grandma's place and near to cousins hehehhe ;P

well talking about donuts!!! ok me and 52 founded the rivals of fun donuts!!! which is LA donuts!!!.
taste better because it has the bavarian creme aka snow white there.

anyways happy testing guys... hmm still i ate the WYWY pau !!!! darn hehhehe.

i was surfing in youtube when suddenly i forgot what i was searching for.... then hmmm i just remembered our son loves to sing the twinkle2 little star thinggy, so i typed in the you tube search engine and saw the twinkle2 little star. downloaded the video for my son. hehehhe

then i started to browse to all the nursery rhymes in you tube hehhe kinda sing a long song... i think it is catchy hehhehe :P.

then all of a sudden i received a msg about a 4 year old kid who will knock on your door and is the latest tactic to a new kind of roberry..hmmm what has the world come to... i think we bruneians nowadays are getting crazy as mordernization exceeds!!!.

yeah!! i heard about the non-halal pau!!! darn!!! i always ate the pau when i go to wywy. boycott them to scratch!!!

yesterday my in laws brought some fun donuts, yeah i ate the oreo ones... hmm still good, i hope the price is better though.

ok back to my small years, in primary school,which was PGGMB jln telepok. i was always singing when it was singing period, we all sang the nursery songs, polka dot bikini song, and many more... i guess i was a happy kid back in those days... hmmm still it was soo fun. reminds me of my primary years and how i was obsessed with toys like MASK, Centurion, G.I.joe, Teenage mutant ninja turtles and stuffs like that.

i remember sequel dramas like Oshin, McGyver, the a team, airwolf, streethawk. yeah it was the era of the digital shows which now looks funny hahahhaha.

i even laugh when i saw the digital era of music, eurythemics, pet shop boys, aha and many more... but i still remembered i bought my first cassette which was Iron Maiden's "somewhere in time". and i forgot the name of my teacher in PGGMB who gave me the "Marillion" cassette.. thank you teacher.
