Sibu bike week 2012 part 1

started the journey from my hometown then to miri as our first stop to exchange our currencies.
I was using my 2008 yamaha roadliner with beach bars and lowering kit. The roads was fine until we reached bintulu. On our way there some parts pf the road was not biker friendly. After we made pur first gas fill up at a place i cant remember the name.
We continued our journey to bintulu otw there we stumbled on some group of friends i knew while riding on my fz1000s back then. I just realised that a member from their group crashed into some swamp. Headlights and tail fell off.
If i could remember it was a yamaha r6 after govong some aid with our first aid box we continued our journey.. After the crash site the roads are mainly forgiving and much more forgiving.
We then reached tatau and refuelled our tanks. There are actually two routes to sibu and i know not which route we were using.
One thing i remembered about my motorbike was that on emergencies, the front handlebars tend to steer itself. Which reminds me to get progressive dpring asap.
After the long ride we then reached a big sign saying welcome to sibu district. I thought it wont be long to arrive in sibu. Eventually the actual km to sibu was an additional 180 kms. Our next refuelling was at selangau. Then rode again and we stopped at a cafe near the road in selangau.
Then after a long ride we met up with a friend's mc. We reached sibu tohether and stayed at paramount hotel. The bike week event is just left back of our hotel. Lucky aint i?
Setup ourc booth and we got a good sale after thevtiring day we went back and enjoyed the night. Even it was a tiring day i slept at 2am that day!...

a cranky start for this my first week.

this first week of going to school, my son starting school. Preparation to this march's Bike week with the brothers and so on.

well, jr did not even cry at school he had a good day, today however he is going to have his vaccination at the hospital for reaching 5 years old, time has flown so quick that i wonder it was like yesterday JR was as big as my palm at the premature ward..

now he walks and runs, talk and asks questions... gonna get some pictures soon and i hope his second day at school will be good..

anyways enough with the distractions... back to work.
