a cranky start for this my first week.

this first week of going to school, my son starting school. Preparation to this march's Bike week with the brothers and so on.

well, jr did not even cry at school he had a good day, today however he is going to have his vaccination at the hospital for reaching 5 years old, time has flown so quick that i wonder it was like yesterday JR was as big as my palm at the premature ward..

now he walks and runs, talk and asks questions... gonna get some pictures soon and i hope his second day at school will be good..

anyways enough with the distractions... back to work.

after a week of frustration on the modem, i finally called the support line on our ISP.

where they said to go to the technical service at my area...

A simple treadfin salmon recipe...

Well me and kandy bought some "cut fish" from tekka market the other day which turned out to be a "treadfin salmon" a good fish like the "barra"

a while before i went cooking i looked at things i got to cook the fish, bare in mind i am fond of "fusion" cooking, i utilise the materials i can find to cook.

what you need:

serving 1

a cut of the fish (diamond shaped) with the bone in the middle,

baby carrots or sweet potatoes cut long.

garlic,

shallots,

lemon grass,

black pepper,

vegetable oil.

pan.

steps

heat pan. in medium fire.. then put in the oil (3tablespoon),

put in 1 stalk of lemongrass cut into 2,

put in garlic smashed, cut or diced.

put in shallots also smashed, cut or diced,

wait for the Aroma of the garlic, lemongrass and shallots in the air,

put in the baby carrots or sweet potatoes in.

wait till the garlic turns brown.

put all the carrots and stuff at the sides of the pan,

then put in 2 tablespoons of oil..and then black pepper,

slowly put in the fish in the middle,

put to slow and minimum fire, close the pan with a lid.

let steam do it's work.

check for the fish to turn white colour not translucent.

serve and enjoy...

A national anthem for my country...in another land.

Assalamualaikum,

i try to remember what we did on that day. i actually missed my school when the national anthem was sung. really missed my kids at homeland. The other day heard they were on their 1st asessment. i hope they go well amiin.

we were lucky to to join the national day celebration on the 25th february 2011 in singapore in hyatt hotel. it was an opportunity to see the bruneians there, even my long lost friends who studies here in singapore. good luck to them all.

assalamualaikum,

yet today after 2 weeks ++ i havent updated my blog, i will comment everything i have done here in singapore.

week 1

2 days in royal plaza on scotts road.. good thing the hotel provides free internet connection but the painful thing is you have to login again and again on the web based login screen.

kandy's first dialysis which was on Monday 14th of february 2011,

like what i would also react to new things, kandy had an anxiety attack where she had just 5 mins of dialysis then went fail!.

they stopped the dialysis then sent her to the main hospital which is the main building of NUH that night with me. ONLY there was this big problem where we left the embassy papers and after a long struggle of convincing the emergency nurses and doctors... that the paper was accidently left at the dialysis centre @SLF building thomson road, sg. she finally "retreated" at like 3 am in the morning and went to the normal wards.

it was also this monday she and her doner had the introduction to procedures and reviews towards the "transplantation".

i still remember how lucky i am to be a Bruneian, having such good incentives and government paid medical services is one of it.. thanks to His majesty the Sultan of Brunei for having a great view and care towards his people. Long live the sultan Amin!

then i sometimes think how spoilt we are... having cars for our own. It is here that i realised that taxis, buses and trains play an important role in "moving around" for singaporeans and even toursists.

food in singapore.. especially @ orchard road and scotts road areas are expensive.. you just need to find the right place to buy or even to cook food.

oh yah! after 2 or 3 days @ royal plaza on scotts we then transferred to "Far East Service Apartments" which is eventually opposite to the place we once lived.

week 2

kandy's mum came from Aussie, just to pay a visit to her 2 daughters.. yes it was a good week for all of us as she is lively and caring towards her daughters... always proud of em both.

yep i forgot to mention kandy's first dialysis was done at NUH main building when she was admitted.

then the following other days it was done at the SLF building but her days of dialysis is now changed to day 2,4 and 6 in a week.

more appointments ahead, but at weekends we have time to go and free our minds after days and days of appointments, waiting, and etc.

kandy was always worried and missed our son JR. we plan to get him here this second week, when finally he was here on the 27th of february. Both of us was grateful for him to come as we always mention about him here and i think kandy is getting homesick soon if she doesnt see her baby boy.

LOL the first thing he told us was he went into an aeroplane... then when they came at 11 am in the morning we brought him to the mrt train station and we went window shopping around singapore.

talking about things i like near our appartments is i can have cheap sushi, from isetan or ramen ten level 1 Far east plaza.

i always hear singaporeans working 2 to 3 jobs just to earn money.

elders here still work till the morning. its impossible to survive here without earning enough. the standard of lving is kinda hard.

here where i live, i seldom hear the "azan" .. maybe near this place there is no masjids around as i did my homework and founded the nearest masjid is at Bencoolen street which is blocks away.

1 thing i like about singapore is that the youths are all admitted to the army or "service time" when they get to 18 yrs old its good as this can definitely get positive disciplinary shaping of youth with army based principles.

cigarettes and cars are expensive here. even though in Brunei a pack of 25s will cost around $7.60 for a pall mall. here for a 20s pall mall will cost you like 11.60. and as the taxi drivers stated buying a car is cheap here, its just the paper for COE or certificate of entitlement is really expensive. which costs like 70k++ (which i heard).

i guess this is all for tonight, might continue soon so BBS!

assalamualaikum,

ok after packing and washing some backup clothes, i decided to update my bloggie a bit,

clicked on my tabs of my browser everything seems to be freezing, unlike 2 years ago still going fine with youtube, downloading and facebook... but now i just opened facebook and i always ping my connection and this is what i found even on my imac...

epic aint it? well used to be a powerful internet connection for my country but now it seems so vague...

ok back to the blogging thing,

after 2 hours of packing and now having a break for things to bring along for the upcoming 2 months in singapore....

i dont know what else to bring now as i'm exhausted off preparation for kandy's destiny.. yet i only praise Allah, as he is the one who will know what will happen and what will not to us..

**WORTH A READ - SWINE FLUE VACCINE MESSAGE****

This is important. Im a qualified pharmacist. I've been researching
the swine flu vaccine that our government has bought for us (using our
money, by the way) and its DANGEROUS AS. Its easy a hundred times more
dangerous than the swine flu itself, imo.

*Something that freaked me out is that several swine flu vaccine
manufacturers have asked governments to give them an
exemption from lawsuits, in case the vaccine caused harm in people.

* If you made a vaccine that you knew worked, then why would you need a
legal exemption in case it hurt people?

*Massive warning sign. They don't believe its safe.*
The swine flu itself has killed about 2/3000 people total.
The regular flu kills 40 000 plus per year - so why are we freaking out
about swine flu, and not normal flu? Does that make sense? no.

If the regular flu kills 40 000 plus per year, and the swine flu only
killed 2/3 000 - then why are governments buying it in advance,
giving it to us for free, and giving drug manufacturers immunity to
legal cases against them? Does that make sense? no.

The swine flu vaccine contains 2 horribly dangerous compounds - one is
called thimerosol. It is made 50% of mercury. It binds to receptors in
your brain, and basically causes brain damage. Is it smart to be injected
with thimerosol, and get brain
damage, dropping 10 IQ points and going dumb, in order to avoid getting a
flu that kills 95% less people than regular flu? no.

The other horrible in gredient is called squalene. Squalene accidentally
tricks your immune system into killing your own cells, which creates
autoimmune diseases like asthma, multiple scelerosis, diabetes, and a
bunch of diseases that we dont have a name for yet (because squalene
hasnt been used for that long, and we have little data on its effects) -
is is smart to inject yourself with that stuff, in order to avoid a
relatively mild flu, like the swine flu? no.

If you're a pregnant mother about to take Panvax, ask yourself this -
why would you take Panvax, when it contains Neomycin and Polymyxin B
Sulfate - both of which exhibit positive risk to unborn children - so as
to avoid what?

A mild flu, that kills 95% fewer people than the regular flu? Look, i'm
a funny guy. Yeah, I make good facebook groups.
People join them by the thousands, and laugh. But Im also a qualified
pharmacist.

I scored in the top 0.1% of my state in school. Im expert at critical
analysis of drugs and their effects on humans. And let me be blunt - if
someone came up to me with a syringe full of swine flu vaccine, or came
near my family with one - I would take the needle off them and poke
them with it myself - followed by several very hard punches. This stuff
is poison.

Don't take it. Dont let your friends take it. Don't let your family take
it. If some idiot in a lab coat asks you if you want it, ask them about
thimerosol, squalene, and why the company making it wants legal
exemption from being sued, and watch their face go into "omg im being
asked serious questions that I dont have the answer to" mode. Anyway. I

MY Mac OSX crashed???

well after a long day reformatting, downloading and stuff...i finally want to share something with alll the mac users and non mac users.

i used disk utility and it didnt helped.

well my macbook was stuck at the apple symbol thing then it shows a no entry sign on grey background.
used the disc utility to repair and verify.

still did nothing, finally formatted and re install my leopard osx and now downloading updates which takes forever.

i hope i can finish the important downloads first... alll my years of work was gone too :(

it's been a while i've been posting on my and our lives... anyways been buzy with work and stuff.

i got promoted to our ICT department at work and been buzy with how to make function an old operating system using Windows ME. anyone out there i need tips and softwares to get the computers condition as "usable" for today.

My lil brother came home last week and now he is back in aussie... hope he knows how to cook there :)

about my photography, all i took was pictures of my place of work though, i got no time to take other pics, hopefully in the future i'll try to post up some more.

on computers, now i'm learning on how to edit and change the HTML codes on my blogger and other blogs that i moniter, today i learnt about the span codes in HTML.

after a long time observing and trying to put in someone's shoe i finally got an answer to all my problems, for me to exactly tell or argue on something you have to really know the idea, the thinking, and if you can the emotions.

for example being a photographer always needs the thinking of uniqueness, an idea of how people may perceive the picture and the thinking of how to get the right angle, composition and colour. yep there is no "stepping stone" in learning, experiments and trial and error you must go through to be a perfect photographer or anything else you desire.

been playing "world of warcraft" and the game although i thought was a waste of time (before) ended giving me some tips in life... what tips? well, the tips of how to learn and become skillful, similar to the game which is in levels..

been wondering what are the basic rules in child discipline is... i googled it out and found this beautiful article which is the link below on how to discipline your child. anyways for me some of the rules is what i am doing right now.. hmm tell me what do you think?

Assalamualaikum.

Well,
my job requires me to do planning on every weekend, which absolutely leaves me with no time for actual "life" and every fridays i have to bring my wife to our daily commitments. this leaves me with no time to enjoy the so called life and time.

my bike has problems after it was in the flood, i guess it must have been the wiring or something, so at the end of this month my bike will ask for money though.

my son is okay, having to see Playhouse disney everyday.. he understands some parts of english, thanks to the good educational programme :)

tomorrow i'll be observed by my boss, on how i do my work, hope everything goes well amin.

about my photography hobby, i started to make hdr photos, but i guess i kinda like the originals as hdr are mainly a synthetic kinda photo, it shows details of what a dream might look. no offense but i still prefer normal photos without editing. now thinking of taking photos with film.(will look for canon film cameras soon on ebay)

well, enough about my boring life, will continue soon, c ya in my other posts.

yep i first took some shots of the halim plaza which was not sucessful then i took these pictures, convert it to HDR using photomatix. cropped and mark using photoshop cs2. it's still not much.. hope you enjoy.

After snapping some pictures using the kit lens of 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 of the fire ants, i was wishing my telephoto lens to arrive. Yet it has not arrived... but last night i was able to Accidently bid on an extender for my kit lens, it is a wide angle + panoramic lens for a sum of BN$100++ made by Bowen lens. hopefully i'll post more macro shots :) here are the shots of the fire ants..

yep after reaching the limit of 200 pictures in my flickr, i've upgraded it to a Pro account, so expect more of my pictures in my flickr account. despite my macbook hard drive is getting full reaching a free memory of 60gig out of 250gig from my pictures so i'll be putting my pictures in my flickr account.

hmm after testing some shots of the full frame Canon 5D mark 2.... i can't really sleep well last night... as the quality of the camera the price was really hmmm xtra hit on the buck!!

i'm great full to my sifu mr Don i was able to test some super cool dslr cameras

today i tasted my wife's baked caramel peach dish, although it is still in the experimental stage, i kinda like it!

imagine the taste of canned peach plus caramel and a pancake..... hmmm yummy!

btw... i also recommend the ABC at Restoran Engal at Suran (beside Suran Tutong filling station) i ordered the Special version of the cold ABC. no picture taken because soo completely unique taste. In summary... whipped cream, ice, mixed cocktail, palm seed, grass jelly, corn, rose syrup, milk... try it out!

i've been experimenting with some panoramic pictures which is one or more pictures merged together to get a much wider view (hence panoramic).

items you need:
of course a camera,
a tripod (or a steady base)
for digital camera, photoshop.
for film camera a scanner and photoshop.( or tape and sharp knife or cutter when printed)
a good scene.

i was actually interested in scene pictures when i discovered the ideas of "stitching" my uncle gantong said. or in other meaning, merging two or more picture to get one really great pic. Here are some examples of pictures i've taken.

first i took this picture on the right. remember this is on a tripod and all manual settings such as manual focus and camera must be set to manual aperture and shutter speed.

then i took this second shot taking note the island on the left as my marking mark.

uploaded it to my macbook and opened photoshop.

opened the two pictures equally and put the second pic window on top of the first pic window estimating the island as marked.

then i open file>automate>photomerge

then the pictures are merged, however we can manually merge it if the file is not recognisable.

then i crop and edited the burnt sides with photoshop plus the watermark. the outcome is the picture below.

it's late and i guess i can't really go to sleep. Don't know why but i think i got the holiday mood still in my mind.

Started to make this post using my n81. Actually testing out the keypad where i always hit the * key rather than the 7prs key.

Its a little slow using my hp although i prefer 2 use my macbook.which is now in my wife's hands. So plan 2 buy a new mac. Maybe the new 15inch pro. (hopefully!)

Today, i went boat sailing because a friend (saifol) ask me if i could join him on taking shots about a sailboat. It was actually the launching of the boat as a charter boat.

yes it was relaxing! and the bonus thing is anyone can charter the sail boat.

the boat was really beautiful, mostly made of wood! really fantastic to see Brunei once again using a slow sail boat.

been a long time since i've updated my posts... a lot of things happened as i'm a buzy dad and a buzy husband too... at the early month of december we went to Rizqun Hotel in Gadong with kandy's grandmother and aunts... yep it was fun being in our own hotels...

the story was this... guys don't call me at my b mobile phone for now because i went swimming and teaching jr to swim when i actually "souped" my nokia n80 and it was actually a chilling feeling having to use it for 3 years and i actually "washed" it. imagine i was introducing a toddler to the water which i guess took 30 to 40 minutes of chlorinated water in my phone... it is sad to find out my most "Kinda" advanced phone is friend to the water :(

so now what i'm doing during the holidays is surfing the net to find the right phone for my daily use. some specs i require is Wifi, 3g, mp4, video so i decided to look for the nokia n96 and nokia n85 but seem to risky to buy these models now because of the decreasing value when time passes.

i also did ask "av electronics" for the apple iphone, as i was fascinated by their black macbook which is what i'm using right now to type this post. eventually i finally founded out that the iphone has not been launched in brunei..dunno why.

so like i always do, i surf the net in search of my destiny phone... yep i prefer the IPhone to the N96. anyways now it is destiny to buy my new phone using the "bonus" season salary. and reserved is a new canon 450d kit with 5 lens, a flash set, tripods and a lowerpro bag (hopefully)

well, it's been long i've been silent... a lot had happen though, with the changes in place of work, work, and work... heheh

been looking at some new tv series like heroes season 3, fringe, and chuck season 2.

i like the new characters in Heroes where there is a twist to every episode in season 1 or season 2.
fringe is an " x files series twisted with csi kinda thing" i don't know... erm try looking at it though it is a good tv series.
chuck season 2 is absolutely fun... comedy and action.

my son now knows how to climb things and stuff it will be his birthday next month and everyone in the world is celebrating :)

shocking plastics in our food!!!

in our daily food there are plastics??? yep melamine plastic the ones which they use to make electrical plugs which are shatter proof they make for plates, bowls, rice spoons etc. why? because it is cheap plastic.

for weeks i heard that one of the sweets which is the white rabbit milk sweets contains melamine!!!damn!! i ate that since i was small but we were not sure of it's halal contents.

and because i always drink mr brown canned coffee, and had to stop hence the reports... but i made a direct approach by surfing the internet and the story about the coffee and i i smiled!!! here are the results......>>> click here<<< .........

yesterday got to Huaho Yayasan and got an invoice for my future SLR camera.. and after that i think you are going to see some crappy pics hehehhehe because it will take time for you to get use to a new camere. From a Panasonic Lumix to a Nikon (hopefully) will be a great change in function or on the exchangable lens. Thanks to my "guru" in fotography...(you know who you are) for letting me know what i really am passionate about... in the month of ramadhan, the month of cleansing..

this cricket usually lives on trees in the rainforest, a friend handled the insect, it made a eardrum smashing sound like the clack things you spin on your hand but decibel is intense!!! look closely at it's back... there is the thing that clacks to produce sound. i guess it is the way the cricket protects itself.... hmmm how perfect is god's creation!!! masya allah!!!. look closely at it's wings which looks like a leaf... there are some jewels!!! i guess they like blings hehehhe...

me, 52 and jr 312 was on our way home and when we reached home our cat was staring at something beside our garage.
then i realised it was a big snake!!! yep... a python... swamp python (ular sawah).
this was the most daring attempt of these snakes coming near our house... i think it is the 3rd time i saw a snake near our house... other than that is huge monitor lizards (biawak).
sadly i didn't bring my n80 and any camera. so i borrowed another phone which is a Nokia flip model which i don't know... anyhows hope you like the pic.
picture taken when the fire department came and asked for a big bag to carry the python which i consider is medium sized.imagine the snake won't fit an ordinary 10kg rice bag.

it's been the 8th day of ramadhan i think it was just like yesterday...
yep, yesterday when we all were eating and drinking..
brings me to think of "them" who doesn't have food and water...
think of the famine in the world... alhamdulillah my country is ok...

yes for me ramadhan is the month of cleansing, the month of knowing your roots..
knowing and setting the limit of not just dieting... but in all aspects,
it is the month of knowing if you are a true muslim,
knowing you don't really need the materials in this world to survive..

the sad ending is when ramadhan leaves...
i'll miss this month every year though....
it was in these pure month i had bitter events...
but i realise god is with me...and he wants me to see everything.

yep, it was good because our "uncle gantong" borrowed us his camera which teaches me some of the basics in photography. it's been a week plus i've used the camera.

yesterday i used it in taking shots for my work and the pics are great!!.

i guess i must own one soon, although i am interested in the nikon or canon range. this camera is a must for emergency picture taking and colour experimenting with the leica lens. 8 megapixels and the ability of taking pictures autotmatically, manual, shutter priority, apperture priority and video recording.

i wish to try the new version of the lumix (fz50) it has 10 megapixels.

i've uploaded new pics on abstract and wedding folders.. enjoy.

well, today i was trying to download a software to use over the wifi network. hmm then the ideas of VOIP phone struck my mind...

used the google search and founded "fring" it makes calls via the wifi. but it is for handphones. installed it already but i haven't tested it yet though, i'm in a situation where noise and interruptions is not allowed now so maybe i'll comment on it sooner or later.
anyhows anybody who has a phone that can connect through wifi can try this application through this link.

My opinion on "kungfu Panda"

last Friday i went to Qlap ciniplex to watch the kung fu panda premier. went there with 52, lavender merah and bro kumbang api.

as usual the booking time stated 11:20 pm but we actually went into cinema 1 at 11:30. i guess the guys there lack in time management.. forgot to include the commercials and stuff. anyhows it would be absolutely insane if someone whould smoke in the ciniplex as i saw the "no smoking By Law" advert.

ok back to the film, yep i was stunned when the start of the film began with somekind of samurai jack version of cartoon...yeah it might look boring then actually "po" (panda) was dreaming and this is where the fun begins!!!.

it was so funny as i try not to ruin the story for all of you who planned to see this movie.

overall rating: 9 out of 10. good as a kid and adult movie, manages to let people participate in the story. Congrats to Dreamworks for producing a real life animation that rocks!!.

morale of the story: believing will someday become reality. (can become a motivating story for education or to increase self confidence).

what we were doing, yet bro kumbang api was soo tired, he didn't even slept a bit, similar to sis lavender merah, she participated in the movie... so it was fun!!!

Been toobuzy these past few weeks, hmm a lot happened.....
52 had her leg casted because it was fractured when we were watching IRONMAN with lavender merah... i was so buzy at work... and i was also buzy due to our upcoming barbeque (www.Newnolimitriders.blogspot.com).

anyhows, not really in the mood to write today, in case you guys were wondering why i haven't been posting for the past few weeks.

although my wife had a cast on her leg she was with me on saturday as my "wingwoman" when we went to miri to buy my Landcruiser's parts. anyhows the queue was soo long arriving and departing to miri, yep it was stuck at the brunei border.

we went to see movies last month ans still got the mood for watching more movies, today i watched "shallow hall" , "the time Machine" which was still a video cd i bought years back... but last night me and 52 watched "doomsday" i think it was an english made movie, but the movie was rated 8 out of 10 for me.

maybe this friday we will be watching "kunfu panda" i hope the film is not a boring one though.( so Lavender merah msg me if you wanna join so that i can book early for you because me and 52 have booked early last night).

after looking at previews i was eager to wait for the upcoming "angelina jolie" movie "wanted" i hope it is a good action movie.

yeah "iron man" was a good movie unlike spiderman, superman... it was kinda unique because stark (ironman as a normal person) admitted he was ironman unlike superman disguised himself as a nerd, same as spiderman...

yep after this we are going to watch "Superheroes" a comedy derrived from superhero characters like spiderman etc... i have watched it once and tonight we are going to watch it again..( i think it was produced by the guys who brought you scary movie and the naked gun)

my recipe: asparagus AND tuna

well ths actually happened on the 30th of april where i was bored. i started to cook something which i always enjoy, simple yet tasty.

yep it is asparagus and canned tuna in olive oil.

first i cut some garlic in small pieces, then open the can of tuna and use the oil where the garlic will be cooked first, then depending on the size of the asparagus, if it is bigger than your pinky finger, i advice anynone to cook it first then the tuna. which is in my case yep, i cooked the asparagus first and then mix in the tuna chunks in. put in some black pepper and some regular pepper for taste....

observe the asparagus turns to greenish (dark) i guess you can also smell the asparagus when it is cooked.

for the base i melted some butter on a non-stick pan then mixed some pepper ans salt on the scrambled egg, cooked it on the pan then transferred it on the plate, and put the tuna and asparagus on it. the butter egg, gives a twist on blending the taste with the asparagus and tuna.

what happened today? hmm yes i drove to work, cold the air was fresh and the morning mist was fine, i saw a rainbow and snapped it.

to cut the story short, i went back from work and saw this tall english man walking beside the road in the hot midday sun, as usual he turned red...i noticed he carried a scroll of map on his right hand which gave me a click that he is a tourist,going back from tasek merimbun... so i followed my instincts and turned at bang pangan junction. i reached him and asked if he needs a lift...(jadi taxi sapu free). anyways he was delighted to see me ask him although he said he is used to walk 30 km once but he said that the sun was really harsh on him.

yep my instincts was right he was from tasek merimbun, he said the place was peaceful and he had a walk there.he also said he went to temburong and went for the eco tourist places.

we talked and talked and i introduced myself, he told me his nickname was vinnie, "vinnie the pooh, they call me..."he said. i asked him where he is from and he said he was from germany, yep germany. i told him sorry in brunei there are no taxis or buses going to merimbun, he answered yes i know i walked from lamunin to merimbun this morning and the air was pleasant, but this midday the sun was sooo hot!!!.

i told him where i work hence that is why i was driving on that road.i asked him what he does..( i thought he was a traveller 247) but eventually he owns and runs a computer business back in munich.

i felt ashamed of brunei promoting it's places of interest to the world, having one of the best forest reserve in asean. but i guess the place needs a private sector to maintain... it is sad to know that your country has the potential to promote tourist but still no action has been made to improve the places of interest.

ok back to the story we talked via the lamunin road untill we reached kupang, where i dropped him at the bus stand there. i actually felt sorry for him walking, but i admire his will to see Tasek Merimbun by himself.

ah i nearly forgot, about our e speed out of the eagerness of the modem being at home... finally we have to refund our modem to telbru because my home is out of range for the espeed Although in the rurals there is e speed.... hmm i don't know what will be their next action towards our places but a friend working in telbru told me soon we can apply when the new launcing starts next month.(i hope we can have espeed!!!!)

yep today i went to hometown being my mommy's boy...hehhehe although age is near 30 :P
. tired of coming back from work where my airconditioning was crap and i was sweating like on a shower in my smart attire...

what i did today was go to work.... came home waited for our upcoming modem to blink "LINK" yet crappy it is saturday, a public holiday for telbru so we have adsl modem to look at for 2 days and 3 nights... anyhows i read the instruction book and the english was crappy but funny hahhaha i laughed by my own.i guess the company who make the modems shoud hire a proper translator.

i keep asking my wife for the proper wifi name introduced to me which was TPlink where i said it was IPlink (watever!) anyhows i guess we just need a linksys because my other lappy uses the same brand. as they said it was cisco system (seriously i don't know what it means!!!) anyhow the linksys is much cheaper here and i don't need to go wifi on areas at the swamp behind our home, or else i'll be surfing with the huge monitor lizard about what cats to eat (where there are 6 fatalities as a gourmet for the biawak!!!) anyhows back to the topic about today,
hmmm, yeah then after getting bored we decided to go to my mommy, here i started to surf using my big bro's wifi... then after a quick fresh air outside, mom asked me to install some swithes which was worn out... i cut off the main switch and installed the worn out switch... (i'm an electrician) everything went ok!!! alhamdullillah.

then went back inside the house planning to update this blog, yes 52 was eager to eat some burgers, after she looked at her cousin's blog...anyhow i look at the fridge of magic and founded minced beef, hmmm i thought i might as well make a burger. (now i'm a cook!!!)but then i founded there was no buns.. so i borrowed midnight's scoot and went with 52 to tutong town to buy some buns..

came home, cooked the minced beef with pepper, salt, garlic and a little tomato sauce (maggi)
then after all flavours are mixed i added a little secret herb from a bottle..anyways i cooked this in my mom's magic wok which look it was bombarded but yet it survived.

then i heated the burger plate, added a little butter, while making big balls of burger meat and dropping them in a mixed fresh egg. then i put it on the burger plate and cooked it all at once.
on the plate, i flatten the burger balls so that it would turn homemade burger like yet still looks homemade.

52 cut some tomatoes from the fridge and got some cheese slices.while i cut the buns to halves and dry the burger pan from oil. to get the burning flavour i used a full flame and put the buns on it.yes i got what i imagined then finally walaa!!!!walllllllllla(entah cana kah bunyinya)

i snapped this picture today somewhere in the rurals. and the green moths is snapped earlier last month.

these are the uniqueness of these moths, i was stuck with the mindset of moths being brown like wood bark.

these are the pictures of a "Balingkasa" which i saw very near looks like the Chameleon hence the lizard's ability to copy the colour it's surroundings. the one which i took very near jumped suprisingly towards me!!! i was surprised! i thought the lizard knows he is going to be a star hehehhe.

taste better because it has the bavarian creme aka snow white there.

i was surfing in youtube when suddenly i forgot what i was searching for.... then hmmm i just remembered our son loves to sing the twinkle2 little star thinggy, so i typed in the you tube search engine and saw the twinkle2 little star. downloaded the video for my son. hehehhe

then i started to browse to all the nursery rhymes in you tube hehhe kinda sing a long song... i think it is catchy hehhehe :P.

then all of a sudden i received a msg about a 4 year old kid who will knock on your door and is the latest tactic to a new kind of roberry..hmmm what has the world come to... i think we bruneians nowadays are getting crazy as mordernization exceeds!!!.

yeah!! i heard about the non-halal pau!!! darn!!! i always ate the pau when i go to wywy. boycott them to scratch!!!

yesterday my in laws brought some fun donuts, yeah i ate the oreo ones... hmm still good, i hope the price is better though.

ok back to my small years, in primary school,which was PGGMB jln telepok. i was always singing when it was singing period, we all sang the nursery songs, polka dot bikini song, and many more... i guess i was a happy kid back in those days... hmmm still it was soo fun. reminds me of my primary years and how i was obsessed with toys like MASK, Centurion, G.I.joe, Teenage mutant ninja turtles and stuffs like that.

i remember sequel dramas like Oshin, McGyver, the a team, airwolf, streethawk. yeah it was the era of the digital shows which now looks funny hahahhaha.

i even laugh when i saw the digital era of music, eurythemics, pet shop boys, aha and many more... but i still remembered i bought my first cassette which was Iron Maiden's "somewhere in time". and i forgot the name of my teacher in PGGMB who gave me the "Marillion" cassette.. thank you teacher.

the whooping ideas of going to kk excites me in a way there is only a week left but it guess the weather is quite wet, hopefully my plans with my friends will work out soon! gotta find a trailer that can load two motorbikes and it has backlights and turnsignals!!. big bro in kk is waiting for our presence though i pray all the things planned will come true. amiin.

coming to think of the rainy days and nights, i realise the world nowadays is coming to a "global warming thing" or i guess brunei is sinking? on my way to my daily chores i encountered floods in penapar and rambai a high tide? or is there something wrong with the global warming?? (greenhouse effect?) i guess bruneians need to take it serious about the effects of global warming, though i smoke hehhehehe.

yep on wednesday night me and 52 saw a nissan sunny rampaged over and knocked down a traffic light post near the tutong camp area... i can't imagine how fast the driver was going!imagine the traffic lamp was absolutely exhumed from the ground!!. just today, when i was going to bsb with 52 on her weekly activity, we saw a hyundai 4x4 jumped over the railing near the tasek hijau place where mysterious accidents always happens!! on a dry day though, imagine it on a wet day, you can expect accidents passing by there.i guess bruneians and cars are stunters hehehhe (thinking positively) thanks to the royal brunei police highway patrol for the convenience of doing the traffic)

msg to everyone: drive safely, don't forget to say your doa, drive fast but keep alert, drive slow and keep it more alert!!! don't try to jump over railings, and don't wonder how the traffic wiring works hehheheh

ermm just out of the blue i was thinking that some areas that happened to us during these months....

yep school children gather sponsors for readathon, marathon, greenathon all the thonsss..
i know that this is good but for me rather i'll give my money to masjidthon, yatimthon and the unfortunatethon... get what i mean?.

nowadays as i see in trafic here in my country motorist should exercise their fingers just to click the turn signals, indicators or whatever, even though they drive the european cars which has the turn signals at the wiper section in a japanese car, i guess in the highway motorist seem to forget to use their turn signals maybe due to concentration of their finger on the steering wheel. hence no time to use the turn signals. you know the importance of people behind or around you using the signals is important because people are not psychic to know you are going sideways or such. so the ower of the orange light seems to give communication on the motorist in front back and side of you.

i hope people may change on the way they perceive others, we aren't psychic you know!!!

just before we go for our weekly appointment, finally i have the chance to update our blog despite my wife 52 is also busy updating her cooking blog. just came back from the friday prayers. and i smell my wife cooking corned beef.

i've been busy for this week despite a lot of work to be done even at home! so i had no time to write here. but i'll just summarise my week for today. the important thing that happened to me from last week was that i lost my pendrive, been searching for it, asked a lot of people.. i don't mind losing my pendrive hence i can buy one more but the 3 years work in it was my main loss!!alhamdullillah finally one of my cousins accidently brought my pendrive which is metallic and flashy! (bought it at the mall when there was a cpu exibition for 28 dollars).

about food me and 52 kinda like riding to "taman selera" in bsb to try out the food. i can't remember the company name but i remembered the first time when me and my sis bought her cockles (kerang) when the pasar malam was behind the chinese shrine back in the 1990's anyhows last night i was stunned to taste their sambal tahai which is dried small fish crushed and fried into a paste (hence sambal) nyum! it was soo nyaman.

52 now is experementing with egg tarts and cupcakes. yep absolutely yummy cek her blog spot for more pics. i helped her design the cupcakes with the icing.grrr!!! its 2 already and we have to go!!! ok guys c ya in the next blog and next time i'll take pictures of babu's sambal and kerang :).

what is the perfect story for life? think of it as a scene beside the beach, looking from the window in a perfect scenery of your hotel room or just simply looking at the mystics of a flower how it grows from seed to stem to bud to flower to seed. yep that is the function of life, from in the womb to a baby to toddler to teenager to mature to old and back again to nothing.

sometimes the simple things in life are not heard, where actually god gives you messages indirectly, simply we sometimes hear and ignore. perhaps when i tell you after this, hopefully you begin to realise it. that is why in the quran humans are made to be all perfect, the brain somehow is perfect to learn and master.it is the function of being human we are given to judge and feel about the right thing in life. in general we have the ability to think of what is good and what is not.

simple things are made for us to think about it, like the stones in the ground, although it is hard it stays in the ground but it's function is to be stepped on, building bigger buildings, we all need it and everything has a purpose, that is why it was created. like us as people what is our function? well you guess... just get more time to think about it though

and now i've run out of ideas c ya in the next blog.

When no fun becomes to Fun donuts but NO FUN PRICE?….

…Just a blink of thought.

Yep I forgot to tell about yesterday, my sister inlaws bought for us the fun donuts!!! Yep hooray for her. She said to mention her name in this blog (Sharon*tut*) hhahahha thanks for buying us the fun donuts… coming to think of it??? Hmmm is $1.20 too costly for a donut???. I would imagine a plain donut will cost around 60 cents with big sugar and stuff. Just wish for the future that the donut won’t be that costly though. i know the soft and tenderness of the donut bread seems irresistible but for being a favourite donut will certainly be a pain in the buck!!! Eventhough you know you can’t get enough!!!.

I was hoping when I came there, the donuts will be like $1 per piece, but I guess I’ll leave that to the box which is cheaper than the donuts hehhehe I thought the box was edible hahahha.52 even said that the oreo donuts has a lot of frosting and the oreo cookie without the filling was used. So it seems that the donut is a “oreo cookie donut”. Whereas the original white cream in the middle of the oreo sandwich I think is not used ( I think they want to promote against diabetes). But anyhows I think it is a pure Bruneian product… and I support the invention or innovations under my flag!!!. The only problem that all the donuts are expensive for a piece of soft dough and flavourings. please anyone in fun donuts. Can the price be reasonable where everyone can pay, the less, the moderate and the rich..

I hope my Favourite FUN DONUTS have FUN Prices!!! Amiin.

has this ever happen to you, you started to like something in the internet and would like to purchase, then there is the ordering blues which takes a lot of links just to inqure about the products you want to buy. then the last minute, it actually complies to us residents such as trying the free new dell xps... it was in my hotmail. ( i thought it was a good deal having it for free) hehh

anyhows 52 is baking some cookies and it is what i'm addicted to eat right now :)

anyhows the rainy day today is makingme shiver. now i'm in a friends house and the aircon is soo cold grrrrrr.

then we went to 52's uncle restaurant in tanjong maya tutong. i tried the lambchop which was not in the menu it was a requested plate and really yummy!!! and now i can feel the heat coming off my body hehheh it's good despite the cold days..

now i'm typing this blog from home...gtg to sleep got work 2morrow.

to all the readers. me and my wife finally decided to rant about the things we do in life. so expect things such as ratings of restaurants or foods, life, music, movies, motorbike stuffs, 4x4, automotive, cooking, animals, plants well you know? those things that usually happens in life.
there will be two writers in this blog, where you'll see 73(husband/dad) and 52(wife/mom).

the story today
let's start in the evening, me and my wife decided to go to Fun Donuts, coz my wife started to crave for their donuts!!!!yep, blame me, i was the one wit the big mouth mentioning Fun donuts!!! which now makes me NUTS! (yesterday we went there riding and only got their cheese donuts!! which suxxs coz i wanted to taste their oreo ones!)now my wife is pestering me saying my blog is like office typing hahhahaand now she is saying erm it's ok plng. anyhows back to the donut story... yeah we went there around 8 something and i waited in front of the yayasan while my wife went to the shop hoping to buys some donuts.

yep about the fun donuts... yeah finally when 52 came to the place she said "I didn't even smell the dough cooking!!!" and the shop was closed ;( . so still craving for the donuts we decided to have substitute to our donut cravings!!! hmmm seems like a good idea!!! :P. so we went to Batu Bersurat place and stopped by a bakery shop named "bakery stop or was it breadstop" anyhows we bought two donuts with choclate rice on it imagining it is the choclaty taste of the oreo hahahhaha. anyhow still i guess the oreo donuts at fun donuts rock!!! a pity 52 haven't taste it though..
